Political signs mar the scenery.
It's that time again. Signs are sprouting up everywhere and will be with us for weeks to come. It takes too long for them to come down after elections.

Spiders have rights too.
Swatted a spider a few weeks ago. It flew through the air and landed on my back. Saw something on the floor a few days ago, picked it up to throw away, and it was a live spider. I figure spiders are just trying to live with us on this planet too and, so far, no bites. Saw "The Dark Side of Spiders", on the National Geo Channel today. Learned that they've been evolving for 400 million years. Now, that's a very long time.
